The Hill 2000 Neighborhood Association and The Hill Business Association are seeking historical information, items and memorabilia to be donated to the new Hill Neighborhood Center at Daggett & Marconi. Hill 2000 and HBA needs items such as periodicals, booklets, old photographs, old menus from famous restaurants no longer in business, letters, athletic event posters or team rosters, championship trophies, dance booklets, political or social event flyers, etc. – any artifacts that you feel may be of historical significance to The Hill neighborhood or St. Ambrose parish. These items, depending on their nature, would either be put on display at the Hill Neighborhood Center or stored there and made available as future research material for anyone seeking information about The Hill neighborhood and its rich history. Anyone having an item or items to donate should contact George Venegoni via email athillartifacts@gmail.com. You may also contact any member of Hill 2000 Board of Directors whose names are listed in the monthly newsletter. Provide a brief description of the item(s) and your phone number for a follow-up call. Hill 2000 is a qualified charitable organization and all donations are tax-deductible.
